Description
Zamayón Osiris is a wine made mostly with Rufete, the variety native to the Sierra de Salamanca. The vineyards, of more than 70 years, are located in the Santibáñez de la Sierra and Molinillo, in the heart of the PDO.
We do the harvest at optimum ripeness, with care and pampering grape throughout the winemaking process so we are sure to obtain an extraordinary wine, complex and elegant. To enhance the aromas and structure we combine the Rufete with Tempranillo, combining the strengths of both varieties.
The wine spends in French oak barrels 10 months, just long enough to enhance the fruit flavors of Rufete, the balsam of Tempranillo and minerality of our soils.
Once bottled the wine rests in our winery until ready to enjoy it.
