Description
This wine is the result of an exhaustive selection of Rufete variety vineyards, native to the Sierra de Salamanca. Grapes are harvested at the optimum time to exalt the complexity of their organoleptic characteristics.
The harvest is done in plastic boxes of 20 kg, and the grapes come from vineyards on the slopes of the hills surrounding the town of San Esteban de la Sierra. Once in the winery are destemmed and macerated uncrushed with the skins for ten days with two daily pumping.
Tasting note
This wine has a high chromatic coloration. In thin layer provides bright purples and violets typical to his youth and freshness of a young wine.
On the nose we found a reminder to stewed red and black fruit as sloe, blackberry and cherry. Perfectly blended we found as well memories lactial (yogurt) proper of a succesfully malolactic fermentation.
In the mouth we draw particular attention the order of the concentration of its elements mellow and fruity, with a slow course where assembled tannins give body and volume to the whole wine to finish with a fruity aftertaste.
